Collaborating on Projects

For well-settled subscribing members, UPT.com makes available an environment geared for setting up and seeing through team projects  with other members on aspects of piano-playing whose finished products they aim to publish on the main website. Examples of projects might be ones dedicated, say, to researching a particular topic or field  of interest, providing original technical exercises, gathering media items on particular themes for presenting in UPT.com's Galleries, or launching a series of topically related wiki-articles or pages of  a collaboratively authored blog.

Some of the special facilities that this environment - called the "Collaboration Zone" - offers include:

  • Access to a file storage service, with remote linking to files enabled
  • Project-specific forum hosting - perhaps as a sub-forum of our main forums (which brings a lot of interest to your project) or as a private forum (for developing of projects)
  • News posting/coverage, of your projects
  • File hosting, in our public download facility
  • Advertising for projects in our projects database
  • A personal author profile, so you can give information about yourself along with your file releases
  • Advertisement of your works as images of the day
