UPT.com's Forums

For web-users today, forums are synonymous with interactive communities of people sharing a special field of interest. UPT.com, in its mission to provide pianists with resources for deepening their understanding of technical expertise, considers its forums to be the most vital resource of them all.

UPT.com's Forum system is extensive. Guests to the site are welcome to view and (after registering) participate in the Open Forums, for discussing and seeking advice on piano-playing matters of all kinds, and will be able to find out what our subscribing members have been discussing.
UPT.com members have access to a much more elaborate range of native forums, designed for greater in-depth developing of topics of concern:

  • Fundamental aspects and concerns of technique (including sight-reading, memorizing, ensemble-playing, practising and performing)
  • Repertoire-related difficulties
  • Literature and media related to piano-technique
  • Notable pianists
  • UPT.com's Core Articles and Tutorials discussion
  • Help on using the website and Suggestions for improving its content and facilities.

UPT.com's Core Team participates avidly in all of these members' forums and aims wherever pertinent to reply to every topic posted.

In addition, the forum system's scope offers members the option of Private Messaging Topics (PM), and also, by arrangement, of creating dedicated forums for use by special-interest groups ("Clubs") and within members' Collaborative Projects.
